Taller S/T

Es increíble como es que puedes tener cosas frente a ti y ni siquiera darte cuenta, he pasado tantas veces por esa calle e inclusive dije un “Bodrio, que hacemos aquí?…dime que por aquí no es”, antes de llegar. Pero así era, en esa calle llena de recuerdos esta el taller de artes de Domingo Yepéz y dos persona que aún no conozco. Hace más de un mes Bodrio me había dicho para ir, y bueno pues mi ‘flojera-falta de tiempo’ me llevo a ir recién este fin de semana. Y no saben lo alegre que me dejo! Por fin he encontrado un sitio donde voy a poder hacer la base de lo que en futuro seré y estoy muy emocionada! Aunque comenzaré en un par de meses, y no sé aún si postule a la Católica (que según Domingo si lo debería hacer), ya espero por comenzar! Al entrar el taller me recordó extrañamente a mi casa, blanca y con colores encima y eso hizo que me agradara mucho más! En Octubre-Noviembre empezaré con pintura-dibujo , fotografía! (ahhh! Que emoción, no es un estudio fotográfico, pero se convertirá en un pequeño para que aprenda) y ‘taller libre’, para que haga mis diseños/fotografías/’lo-que-sienta’, aunque lo primero de ‘dibujo-pintura’ sea algo totalmente nuevo para mi y ni siquiera me vea haciendo un cuadro…no puedo dejar de decir, que diverrrrrrtido!

It’s unbelievable how you can have things right there in front of you without noticing them, I’ve walked past that street so many times before and I even said “Bodrio, what are we doing here? Tell me it isn’t around here’ before arriving. However, it was there, in that street so full of memory IS Domingo Yepez (and two other people I haven’t met yet) art studio. Bodrio told me to go there about a month ago and, well, my lazyness/lack of time made me go this weekend and you can’t imagine how glad I was. At last, I have found a place where I will be able to learn the basics of my future career and I’m thrilled. Although I’ll start the course in a couple of months –and I still don’t know if I’ll apply to Catolica (something that, according to Domingo, I should do), I can’t wait to begin. When I walked into the studio It remind me my house: white with some colors around and that made me like it even more. In October-November I’ll start with painting-drawing-photography (how exciting, it’s not a photographic studio but it will turn into a small one for me to learn) and ‘free ---- ‘ so I can do my designs/photos/’whatever I’m feeling’. Even though ‘painting/drawing’ it’s something completely new to me and I don’t even see myself making a painting I can’t help saying : how fuuun!

Hace mucho que no publicaba fotos de lo que andaba haciendo, pues bien, después del taller al HDC, luego a casa de doble Té Campos (donde encontré cassettes, vhs, y Doble Té me prometió buscar mi cámara a analógica, divertido!), y luego a lo de la casa de Tito. El sábado otro ‘dulce-almuerzo’, HDC y luego mil cuadras en Barranco (correr hasta el mar), Sargento por 10mnts y más caminata. Hoy domingo…hace sol, y no frío, yeeeeeeeeeeei. Un finde más.

It’s been a while since I don’t upload pictures of what i’ve doing. Well then, after going to the studio, I went to HDC, afterwards to Doble Té Campos place (where I found cassettes, vhs and Doble Té promised to look for an analog camera), and then to Tito’s. Saturday: another ‘dessert/lunch’, HDC and a thousand blocks at Barranco, Sargento for 10 minutes and more walking. Today, Sunday: There’s sun and no cold yeeehhh!
